The Codex Studies were examples in how major modern art schools were potentially impacted through automation and technology development. For instance Franz Kline’s love of cars is proposed as a potential explanation in his black and white painting abstractions (they look allot like tail fins on cars from back in the day). The most famous art schools from the 1880s to the 1960s were reviewed for impacts.
